This mansion was once German trader said God Fleet Thomas who lived in Kobe (G.Thomas) is in Ijinkan to existing buildings . Kitano Yamamoto district was built as his residence , as the building of the outer wall of the brick and the only ones , colorful brick of color , it has masonry entrance porch , such as half- timbre of the second floor part ( half-timbered structure ) , the heavy atmosphere that is different from the other Ijinkan . The weathercock which stands on top of the spire is well known , but now has become indispensable as a symbol of Kitano -cho .
